According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q2, the average weekly wage for Maine was $609. Among all Maine counties, Cumberland County had the highest average weekly wage ($684), followed by Sagadahoc County ($668), and Kennebec County ($610).

On the other hand, Piscataquis County had the lowest average weekly wage ($486), followed by Washington County ($487), and Lincoln County ($489).
