According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q4, the average weekly wage for Maine was $661. Among all Maine counties, Cumberland County had the highest average weekly wage ($750), followed by Sagadahoc County ($721), and York County ($672).

On the other hand, Washington County had the lowest average weekly wage ($509), followed by Piscataquis County ($514), and Aroostook County ($543).
