According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q1, the average weekly wage for Maine was $653. Among all Maine counties, Cumberland County had the highest average weekly wage ($755), followed by Sagadahoc County ($711), and York County ($654).

On the other hand, Piscataquis County had the lowest average weekly wage ($477), followed by Oxford County ($526), and Washington County ($528).
