According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q4, the average weekly wage for Maine was $679. Among all Maine counties, Cumberland County had the highest average weekly wage ($770), followed by Sagadahoc County ($728), and York County ($689).
On the other hand, Piscataquis County had the lowest average weekly wage ($518), followed by Washington County ($532), and Aroostook County ($559).
