According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2007 Q3, the average weekly wage for Maine was $660. Among all Maine counties, Sagadahoc County had the highest average weekly wage ($762), followed by Cumberland County ($742), and Kennebec County ($656).

On the other hand, Piscataquis County had the lowest average weekly wage ($506), followed by Lincoln County ($518), and Washington County ($556).
