According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q1, the average weekly wage for Maine was $701. Among all Maine counties, Cumberland County had the highest average weekly wage ($824), followed by Sagadahoc County ($776), and York County ($696).

On the other hand, Piscataquis County had the lowest average weekly wage ($516), followed by Lincoln County ($551), and Washington County ($556).
