According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q3, the average weekly wage for Maine was $683. Among all Maine counties, Sagadahoc County had the highest average weekly wage ($775), followed by Cumberland County ($766), and Kennebec County ($682).

On the other hand, Piscataquis County had the lowest average weekly wage ($517), followed by Lincoln County ($532), and Washington County ($546).
