According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q1, the average weekly wage for Maryland was $831. Among all Maryland counties, Montgomery County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.04K), followed by Baltimore city ($895), and Howard County ($872).

On the other hand, Garrett County had the lowest average weekly wage ($455), followed by Worcester County ($468), and Allegany County ($525).
