According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q3, the average weekly wage for Maryland was $919. Among all Maryland counties, Montgomery County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.12K), followed by Baltimore city ($987), and St. Mary's County ($984).

On the other hand, Worcester County had the lowest average weekly wage ($501), followed by Garrett County ($539), and Allegany County ($596).
