According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q1, the average weekly wage for Maryland was $963. Among all Maryland counties, Montgomery County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.23K), followed by Howard County ($1.04K), and St. Mary's County ($1.02K).

On the other hand, Worcester County had the lowest average weekly wage ($557), followed by Garrett County ($558), and Caroline County ($596).
