According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q2, the average weekly wage for Maryland was $934. Among all Maryland counties, Montgomery County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.13K), followed by St. Mary's County ($1.07K), and Baltimore city ($1.01K).

On the other hand, Worcester County had the lowest average weekly wage ($497), followed by Garrett County ($553), and Caroline County ($599).
