According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2002 Q1, the average weekly wage for Massachusetts was $886. Among all Massachusetts counties, Suffolk County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.24K), followed by Middlesex County ($988), and Norfolk County ($862).

On the other hand, Franklin County had the lowest average weekly wage ($545), followed by Hampshire County ($600), and Dukes County ($609).
