According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2011 Q2, the average weekly wage for Massachusetts was $1.12K. Among all Massachusetts counties, Suffolk County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.39K), followed by Middlesex County ($1.39K), and Norfolk County ($1.05K).

On the other hand, Franklin County had the lowest average weekly wage ($681), followed by Berkshire County ($747), and Barnstable County ($754).
