According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q3, the average weekly wage for Michigan was $788. Among all Michigan counties, Oakland County had the highest average weekly wage ($933), followed by Wayne County ($916), and Washtenaw County ($900).

On the other hand, Keweenaw County had the lowest average weekly wage ($354), followed by Oceana County ($444), and Alcona County ($447).
