According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q3, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $573. Among all Mississippi counties, Claiborne County had the highest average weekly wage ($832), followed by Hancock County ($745), and Hinds County ($689).

On the other hand, Humphreys County had the lowest average weekly wage ($399), followed by Montgomery County ($404), and Issaquena County ($406).
