According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q4, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $630. Among all Mississippi counties, Claiborne County had the highest average weekly wage ($884), followed by Hancock County ($818), and Hinds County ($760).

On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest average weekly wage ($377), followed by Humphreys County ($418), and Sharkey County ($433).
