According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2007 Q3, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $607. Among all Mississippi counties, Claiborne County had the highest average weekly wage ($828), followed by Hancock County ($797), and Jackson County ($754).

On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest average weekly wage ($374), followed by Humphreys County ($415), and Sharkey County ($426).
