According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2007 Q4, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $654. Among all Mississippi counties, Claiborne County had the highest average weekly wage ($858), followed by Hancock County ($833), and Jackson County ($829).

On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest average weekly wage ($412), followed by Humphreys County ($435), and Montgomery County ($455).
