According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q2, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $635. Among all Mississippi counties, Jefferson Davis County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.02K), followed by Claiborne County ($882), and Jackson County ($840).

On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest average weekly wage ($395), followed by Simpson County ($448), and Sharkey County ($451).
