According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q3, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $630. Among all Mississippi counties, Hancock County had the highest average weekly wage ($796), followed by Claiborne County ($793), and Jackson County ($792).

On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest average weekly wage ($397), followed by Humphreys County ($423), and Quitman County ($431).
