According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q2, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $639. Among all Mississippi counties, Jefferson Davis County had the highest average weekly wage ($901), followed by Claiborne County ($873), and Jackson County ($873).

On the other hand, Humphreys County had the lowest average weekly wage ($431), followed by Issaquena County ($449), and Sharkey County ($460).
