According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q4, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $697. Among all Mississippi counties, Claiborne County had the highest average weekly wage ($943), followed by Jackson County ($908), and Hancock County ($902).

On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest average weekly wage ($418), followed by Humphreys County ($485), and Kemper County ($493).
