According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2013 Q3, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $688. Among all Mississippi counties, Claiborne County had the highest average weekly wage ($964), followed by Kemper County ($918), and Jackson County ($895).

On the other hand, Issaquena County had the lowest average weekly wage ($402), followed by Humphreys County ($459), and Leake County ($507).
