According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023 Q2, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $923. Among all Mississippi counties, Hancock County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.15K), followed by Claiborne County ($1.10K), and Jackson County ($1.09K).

On the other hand, Quitman County had the lowest average weekly wage ($661), followed by Issaquena County ($675), and Humphreys County ($687).
