According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023 Q4, the average weekly wage for Mississippi was $983. Among all Mississippi counties, Hancock County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.18K), followed by Hinds County ($1.14K), and Claiborne County ($1.13K).
On the other hand, Quitman County had the lowest average weekly wage ($704), followed by Simpson County ($710), and Humphreys County ($719).
