According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q1, the average weekly wage for Missouri was $770. Among all Missouri counties, St. Louis city had the highest average weekly wage ($1.04K), followed by St. Louis County ($952), and Jackson County ($893).

On the other hand, Shannon County had the lowest average weekly wage ($366), followed by Hickory County ($384), and Ozark County ($384).
