According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q3, the average weekly wage for Montana was $581. Among all Montana counties, Rosebud County had the highest average weekly wage ($766), followed by Stillwater County ($739), and Sweet Grass County ($693).

On the other hand, Petroleum County had the lowest average weekly wage ($287), followed by Powder River County ($334), and Garfield County ($347).
