According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2008 Q1, the average weekly wage for Montana was $625. Among all Montana counties, Sweet Grass County had the highest average weekly wage ($906), followed by Fallon County ($833), and Stillwater County ($790).

On the other hand, Petroleum County had the lowest average weekly wage ($332), followed by Garfield County ($359), and Powder River County ($370).
