According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2009 Q1, the average weekly wage for Montana was $628. Among all Montana counties, Fallon County had the highest average weekly wage ($936), followed by Stillwater County ($846), and Rosebud County ($739).

On the other hand, Garfield County had the lowest average weekly wage ($344), followed by Petroleum County ($352), and Powder River County ($388).
