According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2004 Q1, the average weekly wage for New Mexico was $584. Among all New Mexico counties, Los Alamos County had the highest average weekly wage ($796), followed by Sandoval County ($743), and Bernalillo County ($645).

On the other hand, De Baca County had the lowest average weekly wage ($375), followed by Guadalupe County ($403), and Quay County ($406).
