According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q1, the average weekly wage for North Carolina was $690. Among all North Carolina counties, Mecklenburg County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.08K), followed by Durham County ($1.03K), and Wake County ($763).
On the other hand, Avery County had the lowest average weekly wage ($420), followed by Washington County ($420), and Bertie County ($422).
