According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q4, the average weekly wage for North Carolina was $751. Among all North Carolina counties, Durham County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.07K), followed by Mecklenburg County ($970), and Wake County ($865).
On the other hand, Washington County had the lowest average weekly wage ($469), followed by Alleghany County ($476), and Bertie County ($483).
