According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2011 Q3, the average weekly wage for North Carolina was $808. Among all North Carolina counties, Durham County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.26K), followed by Mecklenburg County ($1.05K), and Orange County ($927).
On the other hand, Alleghany County had the lowest average weekly wage ($495), followed by Tyrrell County ($497), and Pamlico County ($526).
