According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q1, the average weekly wage for Oregon was $652. Among all Oregon counties, Washington County had the highest average weekly wage ($810), followed by Multnomah County ($748), and Benton County ($693).

On the other hand, Wheeler County had the lowest average weekly wage ($384), followed by Hood River County ($432), and Wallowa County ($432).
