According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q2, the average weekly wage for Pennsylvania was $689. Among all Pennsylvania counties, Chester County had the highest average weekly wage ($892), followed by Montgomery County ($850), and Philadelphia County ($812).

On the other hand, Sullivan County had the lowest average weekly wage ($443), followed by Pike County ($459), and Perry County ($460).
