According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q3, the average weekly wage for Pennsylvania was $692. Among all Pennsylvania counties, Montgomery County had the highest average weekly wage ($863), followed by Chester County ($857), and Philadelphia County ($827).

On the other hand, Forest County had the lowest average weekly wage ($431), followed by Sullivan County ($434), and Susquehanna County ($436).
