According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q4, the average weekly wage for Pennsylvania was $751. Among all Pennsylvania counties, Chester County had the highest average weekly wage ($962), followed by Montgomery County ($936), and Philadelphia County ($906).

On the other hand, Sullivan County had the lowest average weekly wage ($443), followed by Susquehanna County ($467), and Perry County ($481).
