According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2004 Q1, the average weekly wage for Pennsylvania was $736. Among all Pennsylvania counties, Montgomery County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.01K), followed by Chester County ($940), and Philadelphia County ($890).

On the other hand, Sullivan County had the lowest average weekly wage ($421), followed by Susquehanna County ($444), and Carbon County ($447).
