According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2004 Q2, the average weekly wage for Pennsylvania was $710. Among all Pennsylvania counties, Chester County had the highest average weekly wage ($933), followed by Montgomery County ($887), and Philadelphia County ($836).

On the other hand, Sullivan County had the lowest average weekly wage ($442), followed by Perry County ($465), and Pike County ($476).
