According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2004 Q3, the average weekly wage for Pennsylvania was $723. Among all Pennsylvania counties, Montgomery County had the highest average weekly wage ($910), followed by Chester County ($903), and Philadelphia County ($869).

On the other hand, Sullivan County had the lowest average weekly wage ($427), followed by Susquehanna County ($447), and Forest County ($464).
