According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q2, the average weekly wage for Pennsylvania was $737. Among all Pennsylvania counties, Chester County had the highest average weekly wage ($982), followed by Montgomery County ($930), and Philadelphia County ($866).

On the other hand, Sullivan County had the lowest average weekly wage ($449), followed by Perry County ($471), and Carbon County ($490).
