According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2005 Q3, the average weekly wage for Pennsylvania was $764. Among all Pennsylvania counties, Chester County had the highest average weekly wage ($986), followed by Montgomery County ($957), and Philadelphia County ($923).

On the other hand, Sullivan County had the lowest average weekly wage ($440), followed by Susquehanna County ($470), and Perry County ($490).
