According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2024 Q1, the average weekly wage for South Carolina was $1.19K. Among all South Carolina counties, Orangeburg County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.43K), followed by Berkeley County ($1.39K), and Charleston County ($1.33K).
On the other hand, Dillon County had the lowest average weekly wage ($775), followed by Clarendon County ($785), and McCormick County ($823).
