According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2007 Q3, the average weekly wage for South Dakota was $598. Among all South Dakota counties, Union County had the highest average weekly wage ($712), followed by Minnehaha County ($695), and Lincoln County ($645).

On the other hand, Jones County had the lowest average weekly wage ($389), followed by Campbell County ($395), and McPherson County ($395).
