According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2010 Q4, the average weekly wage for South Dakota was $714. Among all South Dakota counties, Union County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.06K), followed by Deuel County ($817), and Minnehaha County ($806).

On the other hand, Jones County had the lowest average weekly wage ($453), followed by Mellette County ($476), and McPherson County ($498).
