According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2020 Q2, the average weekly wage for South Dakota was $912. Among all South Dakota counties, Union County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.09K), followed by Minnehaha County ($1.01K), and Lincoln County ($1.01K).

On the other hand, Mellette County had the lowest average weekly wage ($456), followed by Jones County ($604), and Jerauld County ($619).
