According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2023 Q4, the average weekly wage for South Dakota was $1.14K. Among all South Dakota counties, Union County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.43K), followed by Lincoln County ($1.31K), and Minnehaha County ($1.26K).
On the other hand, Jones County had the lowest average weekly wage ($703), followed by Mellette County ($708), and Lyman County ($748).
