According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2006 Q3, the average weekly wage for Tennessee was $698. Among all Tennessee counties, Roane County had the highest average weekly wage ($849), followed by Williamson County ($830), and Anderson County ($823).

On the other hand, Hancock County had the lowest average weekly wage ($366), followed by Lewis County ($383), and Lake County ($393).
