According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2003 Q4, the average weekly wage for Texas was $754. Among all Texas counties, Carson County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.13K), followed by Dallas County ($953), and Harris County ($906).

On the other hand, Zavala County had the lowest average weekly wage ($357), followed by Throckmorton County ($364), and Motley County ($375).
