According to data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2004 Q4, the average weekly wage for Texas was $799. Among all Texas counties, Carson County had the highest average weekly wage ($1.12K), followed by Dallas County ($1.00K), and Harris County ($977).

On the other hand, Zavala County had the lowest average weekly wage ($373), followed by Motley County ($389), and Menard County ($391).
